Courtesy of Trip advisor

Do the words – all inclusive Caribbean GOLF vacations, sound like music to your ears? If you love playing golf, then I’m sure I have your interest.

Some golfers dread vacation time because, sometimes it means being away from their beloved game for a while. I mean when you are at home you play golf every weekend, it’s relaxing, you enjoy it. So I reckon, without a doubt, you would be searching for a holiday experience or vacation destination where you can have your golf, and everything else that goes with a Caribbean holiday, as well. Have you been able to find the right destination that fills the needs of all in the family, including yourself, which includes your love for golf?

Well, I have found a place that may interest you. You can see the resort in the photo above. It’s found on the Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia. – It’s a “Sandals Resort – La Toc Golf Resort and Spa”. Yes, you read that correctly. It did say “Golf Resort”, and that is exactly why I would like to bring this resort to your attention.

Have a look at the Video below, Courtesy of Sandals Resorts, as it will give you a good idea of what – all inclusive Caribbean golf vacations at this Sandals resort, is all about.

As you watched the video, did you take special note of what you saw at the 2 minute 6 seconds mark, and the 3minute 8 second mark? Yes that’s right, some of the golf course? But, you must admit the rest of the resort seems okay too, doesn’t it. I mean, even though you might play 9 holes once a day, I’m sure you could enjoy the rest of your vacation around this place.

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

The resort is quite huge as you saw, in that it covers a large area, some 210 acres, spread along the beachfront and up on the hillsides, and as you took note, built into the resort area, is the 9 hole golf course, which is adjacent to the resort.

Can you just imagine that, being able to play golf every day if you like, and as you finish the ninth hole, as shown in the photo here, you’re back at the resort entrance. You can then relax with the rest of the family either in the pool, on the beach, or just resting up in your suite. Sounds good doesn’t it.

This is what “Sandals” themselves have to say about their Golf course–

“Masters of the game and beginners as well will thrill to the lush landscape of La Toc’s challenging golf course. Rolling hills and majestic fairways inspire performance at all levels, and complimentary green fees invite repeat plays at leisure. Short but sweet, this 3,141-yard course challenges you to sharpen your club-selection skills, and several holes demand laser-like accuracy to chart their tunnel-tight layout. On the 8th hole’s par-3 downhill, for example, a mere fade or draw could land you in a jungle of white cedars, almond trees and bamboo”

It sounds to me that these nine holes are no push over, what do you reckon! Sounds like a real challenge to me. However, if you’re up for it, you could be taking the greens on, as soon as your next Caribbean vacation.

I guess you would need to be mindful, too, as to when it is that you make reservations at all inclusive Caribbean golf resorts, because, as we all know, some extremes in weather push through the Caribbean region at certain times of the year. For instance, if you go in the rainy season, the golf course will probably be very muddy in places and not very playable. Sometimes they need to close it down, too, due to the flooding etc. Then the other extreme may be that if you go in the dry season, the lush beautiful greens and fairways that we see in the video and photos, may have gone brown due to the lack of water. So do due diligence as far as the timing of your golfing vacation in the Caribbean.

A good thing about this resort is that the golf is all included with what you pay for your vacation here. For instance, the green fees, the once a week golf clinic are all included. However, be mindful of some charges that you have to pay, that you will need to factor in to your budget. They are – compulsory caddies, powered golf carts if you want to use them, and if you need to hire clubs, shoes, or if you want lessons.

To change tack a little – Which are the best rooms to book into at the La Toc Golf resort?

Everyone of course has an opinion on this. For instance, some recommend if you need a quieter place for your vacation, try a room up on the Bluff. It’s away from most of the action and noise down at the beach, but you can always go down there whenever you like, by walking, or by taking the resort bus that passes every 5 minutes or so. It really depends on you though, doesn’t it, and, by the way, if you are maturing with age, like myself, try and get as close to ground level as you can, unless you don’t mind walking up stairs.

As with all resorts, including this one, there has been some negative and positive comments made by previous guests. By reading the negatives, you will probably run for your life, away from this golf resort. But, please be aware, that at the time of writing, only some 17% of guests found something wrong here, whereas the rest, a huge 83% had only good things to say about it.

First, here is what the 83% had to say, according to Trip Advisor -

“Spotless and delightful, Wonderful honeymoon, Loved every minute, Three in one inclusive package, We felt at home from the minute we arrived, The staff make all the difference, If you can’t enjoy yourself here you have issues, Outstanding honeymoon in the millionaires suite, Fantastic time, We have pre-booked our next Sandals getaway in 2013, Wonderful all inclusive resort”

And – brace yourself – here is what the 17% felt about the resort -

“Awful service, Nightmare in Paradise, Terrible, It’s all photoshop, Absolutely horrible, Utterly terrible, Total rip off, Avoid at all cost, Light fingered staff, Uninterested management, Book somewhere else, Worst experience of my life, Crushing disappointment, La dump, Over priced, Over rated, Terrible customer service, Dirty facilities, Use the safe, Never again, High dollar low value, Honeymoon from hell, More 2 star than 5 diamond, Sub standard room, Do I start with the rats or end with them, Not all Sandals are alike, Beyond terrible, Bed bugs”.

That’s enough to frighten anyone off, isn’t it. But please remember, out of some approximately 2600 reviews, 2169 said their stay was – excellent, very good, and reasonable. Still it’s your decision.

Will the pull of the golf course bring you here? Can you withstand the worst case scenario here at the La Toc Golf Resort and Spa, and join those who have searched for – all inclusive Caribbean GOLF vacations – and have found, and enjoyed their experience here?

Happy Golfing on your next vacation….

All Inclusive HOTELS in the Caribbean – Is there such a Thing?

Have you ever heard of all inclusive hotels in the Caribbean? We know there are lots of resorts in the Caribbean, but we don’t hear the word hotel so much. They are part of the landscape however, in fact there are numerous resorts that are called – hotels. So, is there a difference or not?

Well according to the website, “Differences between”, there is a slight difference. This is what they say -

”Resorts are places ……….that provide relaxation and recreation over and above the accommodation, meals and other basic amnesties. The characteristic of resort is that it combines a hotel and a variety of recreations; it serves food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, relaxation such as spa and shopping. Generally hotels located inside resorts are known as resort hotels.”

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

So there you have it. Can you see the difference?

So, lets take as an example, shall we, the Rendezvous Resort Hotel, Malabar Beach, Castries, Saint Lucia. According to the definition quoted above, we could easily say that it can be included as one of the all inclusive HOTELS in the Caribbean, because –

1. The characteristic of resort is that it combines a hotel and a variety of recreations

2. It combines basic amenities with sports, entertainment, and a variety of recreational activities, together with food and drinks of all kinds.

So, by providing the basics, combined with the extras, it is truly a – resort HOTEL. Probably, many resorts then, are really – resort hotels, aren’t they, according to that definition.

So, now that we have cleared that up, (are you still confused?), can we take some of your time to have a quick look at the Rendezvous Resort Hotel itself, in a bit more detail, as it is oftentimes referred to as a Boutique Hotel by reviewers as well.

They say it is a boutique hotel due to its size being relatively smaller than the large resorts dotted over the Caribbean. It is boutique too, because of the family atmosphere felt here by guests. Please be mindful though that even though it has this family atmosphere, this resort is for adults only, actually, couples only. In fact they specifically state that it is not for single adults or for under eighteens. So we see they cater for just a niche client market here.

It truly is an all inclusive resort hotel, because it does include many things that you pay for as part of the package.

Included are :

 Your accommodation of course.

 All your meals at on site restaurants and outlets.

 All beverages which includes alcoholic and Non-alcoholic per glass.

 Entertainment provided at night.

 All water activities including, skiing, kayak use, windsurfing etc.

 Are you into archery, tennis, golf clinic – These are part of the deal.

 All you taxes, fees and tips.

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

Just to contemplate the inclusions as mentioned above, means there will be plenty to do here, if that is your idea of a holiday. But of course, you by no means have to get involved in all the activities if you don’t want to. If just relaxing and doing next to nothing, perhaps lazing by the pool or in the pool is your idea of a real vacation, then by all means do that.

Out of all the, all inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, I found this hotel different and interesting, I suppose you could call it, boutique, in that, there are excursions organized by the hotel like beach walking twice a week, and even walking to the capital of St Lucia, Castries, which will take about one hour each way.

Also, a few times a week bicycle excursions are planned, where a guide will take all those interested for a ride into Castries, to do some sightseeing. So, all in all, there will be plenty to do, or nothing to do, if that is your mindset.

Over the years there have been some excellent reviews left from the majority of past guests. Here are just a few of their positive comments recorded for us by Trip Advisor:

“Amazing Experience, Wonderful hotel, Would go again, Romantic and luxurious, The best you can get, A great place for couples of all ages, Outstanding value, Wonderful relaxing slice of luxury, What a supberb place, Best hotel, Just perfect, More than expected, A magical honeymoon, Perfect wedding location, Most relaxing and friendliest places, Lovely hotel and great staff, Heaven on earth, Total bliss.”

And then on the other hand a small percentage said the following:

“Bad honeymoon memories for life, Total waste of money, Construction while we were there what a shame shame, Terrible vacation, Nightmare Rendezvous, Disappointed, Noisy and unrelaxing, Disgusting boring horrible not paradise, Stray cats and dogs, Disgusting pool, A nightmare, Surrounded by a graveyard, Not impressed, Overrated, Good but not great, Cheap not luxurious, Graciously dilapidated, Aircraft noise, Room for improvement”

Just reading the positive and negatives, it really does make you wonder if these people stayed at the same hotel.

Anyway, it is up to all of us to weigh up all the evidence and make our own decision and live with it. One thing we know for sure, the Rendezvous Resort Hotel, is one of the boutique, all inclusive hotels in the Caribbean.
If you feel the urge, try it out, and leave your own review.

All Inclusive CRUISES Caribbean Style – What Can You expect?

Courtesy of M42

Arguably one of the best cruises to go on would be to the Caribbean. In fact, to go on one of the available All Inclusive Cruises Caribbean Style, would surely be a cruise we would not forget for a long time. It is amazing to think that no matter what part of the globe we are located in, we would not have to go a large distance in our home country to hook up with a cruise ship that was heading to the Caribbean.

If you are in Northern America, there are some fifteen ports where you can embark, and from South America, 5 ports, just to name some close handy localities from where you can board a cruise liner with a Caribbean destination. Of course, for those you who live further away from the Caribbean, than the Americas, please consult your travel agent to ascertain what is available from your home country. If there is an opportunity to board a cruise liner from where you are located, you may be on a much longer cruise, which would be nice in itself, unless of course you decide to catch a flight to a closer port in relation to the Caribbean.

You will notice the subject of this Caribbean cruise information starts of with the words – “All Inclusive”. Now, may I say – buyer beware, because for many cruises that you book, this is only partly true. For instance, here is an example of what could be included and what may not be included –

Included

 The actual cruise on the ship booked to it’s destination.
 Your accommodation cabin on board
 All your meals, together with twenty four hour room service
 Beverages such as Coffee, tea , juice, milk and water which is not bottled
 Some activities such as table tennis, basketball and fitness centre use
 Arranged broadway stage shows etc
 Use of the various bars on board, such as lounges, discos etc
 All Port charges
 All Government taxes and fees

Not Included

 Tips
 Use of Spa and any salon services on board
 Beverages such beer, wine and spirits, even soft drink and bottled water
 Services such as baby sitting
 All land excursions and tours
 Use of the Casino and other gambling facilities, and video games
 Accommodation either before or after the cruise

Please be aware though that all cruise lines are different, with some giving you more inclusions than others. So, it definitely pays to shop around, to find out exactly what’s included in your initial outlay, and then what money you’ll need, to pay for the other necessary things as the cruise proceeds.

A couple who regularly travel to the Caribbean give some good insight and advice below, that highlights the need to shop around – <a style="text-decoration:none;"Listen to their interesting comments

“I’ve already booked a cruise on the Ventura for the 2nd Jan 09 ‘can’t wait’. I’ve cruised many times with different companies but we much prefer P & O. Their standards seem to be superior to some of the other lines and the Ventura looks magnificent. It’s definitely better to book early, the discounts are huge. We book through a cruise club and receive an extra 10% on top of the P & O discount.

We first discovered the Caribbean through cruising, it gives you such a good taster of the different islands. We tend to alternate, ‘cruise one winter, and stay the following winter’. Our favourite islands are Barbados and Saint Lucia, we discovered both on our first cruise”.

Another aspect to consider is how long you wish to be away. You may have the mistaken idea that making reservations and booking one of the all inclusive Caribbean cruise packages, may mean you have to be away for two weeks or more. This, of course, is not the case. In fact, depending on the cruise line you deal with, you’ll find there are all inclusive caribbean cruises 2012, that are cruising anywhere from three days to two weeks depending on where the destination is. Once again, make a thorough search of all these angles.

Of interest too, is that you may be able to book all inclusive cruises Caribbean style, that are style oriented, like for instance if you are a family, there may be a cruise available that just caters for families. Also, in the same vein, there may be singles cruises, also theme and luxury cruises, that you can pick from.

So, let’s do our research well, and we could be off on one of the most memorable all inclusive cruises Caribbean style.

You open the envelope, and inside, the card reads something about a Caribbean all inclusive adults-only resort, and that your holiday there has been fully paid. What a surprise. But what about the children? You are a husband and wife with two little ones, so what is to become of the them, when you go to this pre-paid Caribbean all inclusive adults-only resort? Reading the card further, you find that your parents saw the need that both of you had for a holiday – by yourselves, without the kids, and yes, they have offered to care for them while you both recharge your batteries.

Wouldn’t that be exciting, if out of the blue someone gave you such an exciting present?
Just think about what could be going through the couples mind. They would be thinking, where in the Caribbean. They would be wondering – the card says, all inclusive. So, just what is included. Then there’s the part that says – adults only. What do they make of that?

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

That sounds good, doesn’t it. Now our couple know what money they will need to spend, if any, while enjoying their treat.

So far, the couple have established that their dream holiday together, is at the Capri Riviera Cancun resort Mexico, on the shores of the Caribbean, and know the significance of the words – all inclusive.

But, why and how is this resort, an adults-only resort?

Well, the Capri Riviera Cancun is just one of many Caribbean all inclusive adults-only resorts specifically created and designed to cater for adult holiday makers, whether they be young adults, honeymoon couples, parents, like the couple who were given this wonderful present, or maybe even girlfriends. They could go to a place like this and be totally free from the noise and racket created sometimes by children in their quest to have a good time.

So, as in the case of the couple who were on their way to the Casa Riviera Cancun, they were able now to look forward to a change of circumstances. They knew their children were safe at home with Grandma and Pop, so now they could be free from that responsibility for a week, and in the wonderful position of being able to enjoy a peaceful and serene vacation, which will give them a great opportunity to reconnect together, to have a beautiful honeymoon all over again. Can you imagine how they will feel as they look out of their upper floor suite out onto the pool, beach and Caribbean, as shown in the photo here? Makes me wish I was there too.

Surely, knowing what they’ve found out so far, about this Caribbean all inclusive adults-only resort should be enough, wouldn’t you say? After all, the reservation has been made, so they really have to put up with whatever comes their way. However, if they really want to know further details, and be prepared for everything, they could easily take things a step further and find out what the chances may be of something going wrong, perish the thought.

For instance, if they researched the web, they would find the following reviews as distributed by Trip Advisor -

Taking into account some approximately 2500 reviews from guests who have stayed at the Capri Riviera Cancun, a whopping 94% gave favourable reviews, leaving 6% of the guests not having such a good time. Here are a few of the positive reviews of the 94% -

“Wonderful and would recommend to friends, Our 3rd stay at Capri, Even better the second time, Perfect Vacation, Wonderful and friendly great for couples, A+ customer service, A little bit of heaven, We loved it, Can’t get much better than this, Beautiful luxurious romantic place, Lived like a King and Queen, Perfect, I don’t know how anyone can complain, Probably the best resort in Riviera Maya, Exceeded expectations, The best all inclusive we have stayed in, Exactly as advertised, 17th visit to Secret’s since December 2005, Lovely room great service good food and friendly, Beautiful traditional resort with friendly service.”

Of course the other 6% expressed a different opinion. They said things like -

“Not quite as good as the brochure, Big disappointment, Use to be good, Not what we expected at all, I would have rather worked on my in laws farm for a week, Horrible food, Run away from this hotel, Awful, Worst all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at, A no personality cookie cutter resort, Awful service stay away, Staff had bad attitude, Watch out or they will rip you off, Boring, Save your money and go somewhere else, Over priced and over rated, Hell hole, Not as good as before, Needs renovation badly, Secret Ghetto, Beware construction next door, Non smokers beware of smokers paradise”.

Phew. I know, some of those comments, would be enough to frighten anyone away, including me. But please remember, only 6% made these negative comments, while, by far the majority (94%) , had a reasonably good enough time here, that they saw fit to leave good reviews. Once again, it goes to show, doesn’t it, that we are all different, we all have different levels of tolerance, expectations and individual circumstances, don’t we.

So, our married couple, without their kids in tow, armed with all these facts, can now prepare to travel to and hopefully enjoy this – Caribbean all inclusive adults-only resort. What will be their experience? Only time will tell.

Best Caribbean all Inclusive Resorts for COUPLES – Is there such a thing?

Does that title sound a bit strange to you? Is there such a thing as the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts for couples? What about the kids? Well, that’s the point really of having adult, couples resorts, isn’t it. There are no kids. No kids to annoy you, making all that noise, taking up all the room in the resort pools. How good is that, if you are an adult couple on a romantic vacation.

It is certainly not surprising then to find many couples-only, all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean area. But which are the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts for couples? I personally think that question is a little hard to answer, because there are so many good resorts available. So, how about we take a look at one that will give us a good idea of the calibre of what’s out there.

I thought I’d pick, the “Grande Antigua Resort and Spa” by Sandals. You may have heard of this one. Here’s what it looks like.

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

Pretty good don’t you think, I want to be there, don’t you? The Grande Antigua Resort and Spa is one of 14 resorts for couples only, but this resort has won the coveted “Worlds most romantic resort” award, fourteen years in a row, so I think this puts it in the category of one of the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts for couples, would you not agree? So, here is a quick birds eye view of the Grand Antigua that will hopefully give you a good idea of what you can look forward to.

Please bear in mind though that even though we’ll call it one of the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts for couples , some 13% of previous guests may not agree with that, as sadly, something went wrong when they stayed, whereas the vast majority, some 87% can’t stop singing the resorts praises. I just thought I’d add that in, because things do go wrong at the best of places, don’t they.

Now remember, you and your significant other, are here to enjoy a vacation together. Probably a romantic vacation. So, it’s important that while you are here, you shouldn’t have to worry about money so much, because you’ve already booked one of Sandals All inclusive Caribbean resorts for couples, and have paid in advance for your all inclusive holiday.

So, what is Included?

First and foremost is your choice of accommodation ranging from basic up to their luxury one bedroom villa that has its own private pool. Wow.

Then there is your food and drinks, which are a large portion of any holiday. To make this aspect enjoyable, you can have your pick of eleven top of the range restaurants to choose from, where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner, and enjoy unlimited drinks as well. It must be remembered that meals are served at certain times, so I guess if you sleep in too much in the mornings, you may miss your breakfast etc.

Included through the day is a host of activities that include all the necessary equipment. For instance, think of a sport you might like to engage in. What would your choice be? Tennis maybe. How about basketball, snooker, table tennis? What about volleyball on the beach? All these sports are catered for with the equipment supplied. And if you are a fitness fanatic, there is the resort gym centre, so you can work up a sweat there.

What about water activities?

Well, what applies to the land activities above, also applies to the water sports. Once you try the six pools in the resort, and the whirlpools of the same number, where if you like you can even swim on up to a bar for a drink if the urge takes you, you can then branch out to other water sports and activities along the beachfront as shown here, and there is plenty to get involved in.

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

For instance, can you see yourself canoeing or kayaking, knee boarding or tubing in the ocean in front of the resort ? How about learning to sail or windsurf, or maybe even trying your hand at snorkelling. If that doesn’t wear you out for the day, there is also Scuba diving too, and, remember, all the instruction and equipment is provided for your use.

What about night time entertainment?

Well, when we call this place one of the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts for couples, it’s because they not only keep you busy all day, but they pour on the entertainment at night too. So keep in mind that if you tire yourself out to much through the day, you probably won’t be in a position to enjoy the night life. How do they entertain their guests through the evening hours? At night , there are live shows, beach and bonfire parties, theme and costume parties, fashion shows and live bands as well. I’m tired already.

Now even though this is an all inclusive resort, you may have to use your wallet or credit card at times, especially if you want extras like, special spa treatments, telephone usage, or any gifts or odds and ends you may buy at the on-site shops.

So, that was, in brief, a quick overview of” Sandals Grande Antigua Resort and Spa” – if not the best, one of the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts for couples. It may take a bit of saving to get there, but being there will surely leave both of you with great memories into the future. Enjoy.

A Caribbean All Inclusive HONEYMOON – What could be better?

But not everyone can afford an expensive Caribbean all inclusive honeymoon. The very word- “Caribbean”, seems to conjure up, in many peoples minds the need for plenty of money, doesn’t it. In fact in a lot of cases, it’s just a matter of a newly married couple, booking a weekend getaway at a holiday facility close handy, as this is all they can afford. To be honest though, there is nothing wrong with that. After all, what is important is the newlyweds having a close and special relationship with each other. I’m sure you will agree.

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

However, what if you could afford to go and grab one of the all inclusive Caribbean honeymoon packages that are available? If you have a budget and money set aside to allow for that, why not make your honeymoon that extra bit special? Some newlyweds have even requested that their wedding gifts be substituted for gifts of money, and by so doing, the couple have been able to afford to enjoy an all inclusive Caribbean honeymoon of their choice.

Whatever your financial situation, if you are a position to go looking for such a honeymoon, what can you really expect? In my research, I found that quite a number, if not the majority of resorts in the Caribbean, advertise all inclusive Caribbean honeymoon packages, with many offering such for free. However, you, like me, may be a bit sceptical, and think that – nothing is for free. Do you think that way?

From the different resorts I visited on the internet, It seems that a lot offer a free Caribbean all inclusive honeymoon, if – you stay for at least 7 nights, or something similar to that. So, I guess, to receive the extra honeymoon package, you will need a budget to stay for a longer period. This may not be the case with all resorts, so it will pay you to do a comprehensive search, and you just may find a diamond in the rough.

In any case, what is up for grabs if you go for a caribbean honeymoon all inclusive package? Well, you can expect services like the following:

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

• Transportation from the Airport to the resort, together with fruit, champagne and chocolate.

• A welcoming letter

• A basket of fruit with fresh flowers in your room on arrival

• A Dinner for 2

• A breakfast in Bed with champagne

• A 50 minute massage for the honeymoon couple, with wine

• Personalized Robes

• A photo shoot on the beach

• A romantic cruise for the couple

Now please be advised that each and every resort offers different things. The list above is for example purposes only. But it sounds very nice doesn’t it. So the combination of these things above may in themselves cost you an extra $500-$700 or more, but because you agree to stop for the 7 or more nights, and be ready to present your wedding certificate, this will qualify you for the “free”, Caribbean all inclusive honeymoon.

You can go even further than that by buying extra honeymoon services that resorts offer and may be available. One that some resorts offer is having a butler on call to be of service to you for a day, or for a dinner.

If there is extra money to spend in the budget, there are resorts too, where you will need to spend $1500-$1800 on a honeymoon package, and, this is extra to your accommodation.

Other resorts have much smaller honeymoon packages, like for instance, at some resorts on arrival, a couple will be presented with a bottle of bubbly, massage and flowers in their room. That doesn’t seem a lot, but, if you have booked an appropriate all inclusive resort for your Caribbean all inclusive honeymoon, you are actually paying up front for your accommodation, all your meals, eats, and drinks, all the onsite activities, whether they be sports, recreational activities, and even playing golf, depending on the resort.

So, the choice is yours. Search thoroughly, and you just never know. You just might find an affordable, Caribbean all inclusive honeymoon, package that is more than suitable.

Caribbean WEDDING Packages All Inclusive – obtainable and Affordable

When it comes to your forth-coming wedding, have you or your partner thought about looking into Caribbean wedding packages all inclusive?

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

These days, it’s the cost of weddings that are a little off putting, and for many, just the thought of the words, “Caribbean wedding”, makes for negative thinking as to how much that would cost. Too, there is more to think about than just the soon to be married couple. There’s the families who would like to see their loved ones married. So, any thought of an all inclusive Caribbean wedding may seem out of the question. But is it?

Did you know for instance, that there are many Caribbean resorts that advertise all inclusive wedding packages. Not only do many resorts have these available for you to choose, but their offer is for – FREE wedding packages all inclusive. That sounds good, doesn’t it. Of course, be assured, that their Caribbean wedding packages all inclusive, are not totally free. So, what’s the catch?

Well, the deal is, that they will organize a wedding for you at their resort, for free, if you stay a certain number of nights. Some resorts in the Caribbean ask you to stay 7 nights for the free wedding, while others may ask you to stay 3-5 nights. So, while your wedding may be free, you do have to pay for your accommodation etc at the resort. Also, with regard to your Caribbean wedding, keep in mind that some items you may have to pay for, as they are not included in the package. Things like Government fees and document fees, which vary, dependant on which part of the Caribbean your wedding is held.

To give you an idea of what you get as you make your decision on one of the Caribbean wedding packages all inclusive, one resort includes the following :

Courtesy of Trip Advisor

Consultation with an expert for your wedding.

A wedding team at the resort that you can consult with.

A great Wedding location

The Brides bouquet and boutonniere for the Groom.

Background wedding music.

Wedding celebrant.

Reception held in a beautiful setting.

Reception for 8 persons including Bride & Groom, with Wine and tasty snacks.

A table all decked out for the reception, and set for 8 persons.

A wedding cake.

Marriage documentation prepared, together with the marriage certificate.

A wedding gift from the resort itself.

1 photograph

A dinner for the bride and groom with a free bottle of wine.

The Bride and Grooms room decked out for their honeymoon.

1 x full breakfast in bed.

So, that’s what is typically included, and would vary of course from one resort to the next. Of course, if you need anything extra, it will cost you extra. For example, you may want a video made of the whole wedding, so that you can show members of your family when you get home.

You may need that extra special knife to cut the cake. That will be extra as well. Or, you may want a dinner by candle light for just yourself and your partner, and maybe add to that, a personal waiter for this dinner. This also is extra.

So, they are definitely worthwhile thinking about, these Caribbean wedding packages all inclusive, as it may well be that you can even save some money on your wedding by going to the Caribbean. What many find a cheaper way of doing things is, instead of paying the $20-$40 thousand dollars for their wedding at home, they use one of the Caribbean resorts that are easier to get to by plane, inviting just a few close friends or family, and paying the cost of having a nice video made of their wedding, so that they can take it home with them and send copies to those that were not able to attend the wedding .

The above is just an example of what’s available for All inclusive Caribbean weddings. You may find that you can have a beautiful wedding, in a beautiful spot, and save some dollars as well. So, go ahead, and check out these Caribbean Wedding Packages all Inclusive

Is there such a thing as – Caribbean all inclusive family resorts? Can you imagine a beautiful Caribbean resort complex catering for the whole family, even devoting whole web pages encouraging families, including the kids, to come and enjoy their facilities? This may be surprising, as many resorts don’t seem to openly promote and try to attract the family dollar, or perhaps it is other guests at resorts that frown on the whole family and noisy kids syndrome. However, Caribbean resorts are available, and are looking for you, and your family, to enjoy a holiday together at their place. How good is that!

Infants

This resort shown in the photo for instance, is truly one of the better Caribbean all inclusive family resorts.

Courtesy of TripAdvisor

For instance, while it is only natural for you as a parent to want to keep your baby or infant close by, especially these days, it may be your desire to have some one on one time with your partner. After all, it is your holiday too, isn’t it. Well, this resort has an answer to help you out here.

You see, they have nurseries with fully qualified child carers or nannies who will look after your little ones. These nurseries have everything a little one would yearn for. All the toys that would take their imagination, shows featuring the characters of Sesame Street, and this is not only through the day, but also into the evening. How’s that for being a family friendly resort.

Kids to 12 years of age

Further, with emphasis on the family, even the older kids, from infant to 12 years old are cared for as well. In fact, there are organized programs for some five age levels. These programs are called “Kids Camps” by the resort, and are fully staffed by competent child care workers, who plan out the itineries for your children for the day. Everything has been provided for their fun.

Tweens

Do you have a child who is a tween? What is a tween, you ask? Some authorities say a tween is a child somewhere from the years 9-12? I know you may be thinking, “How am I going to keep him or her busy and happy ”. You don’t have to worry, because what is significant here is that, this fine example of what’s available in Caribbean all inclusive family resorts, even caters for this age group. Can you think of what they may be interested in?

Do you think they would enjoy having some new friends? Do you think they would be happy to learn, with their new friends at the resort, things like – How to sail, try their hand at water skiing, or how to use a snorkel, in fact, think of a water or beach game or sport, and it’s there to play. Anyone for Xbox 360? With unlimited games to play on the Xbox, to many of our young ones, it’s just like being at home, only better. Then there is dancing, taking part in fashion parades, karaoke etc etc. After, they’ll have a good nights rest, and then there is more of the same tomorrow.

Teens

Yes, if you can get your teen along to this resort, they are catered for as well. The activities included are many that have been already mentioned for the tweens, above, plus music parties, a teens only place to chill, and lots of other sport and games for teenagers to enjoy.

All Inclusive? What is included in a Family resort package?

Well, every resort is different in what they offer and it pays to check exactly what you’re getting, and not getting, for the price you’ll be paying. However, the following is an example of what some Caribbean all inclusive family resorts may offer:

• Your accommodation

• All your meals and all your snacks

• Drinks

• Kids activities that are supervised

• Fine Dining

• Scuba Diving, Water / Land sports

• Playing Golf

So, what does this tell you about Caribbean all inclusive family resorts like this? The fact that they cater for members of all the family, is something that we as parents truly appreciate. Of course, we would as usual, keep a careful eye on our young ones, while at the resort, that’s a given. But at least, this gives us as parents a direction to think about as we plan our next vacation as a family. It’s comforting to know that these

There are very few places on the planet that can rival the beauty and majesty that is the Caribbean, and to add to the value of this region is the fact that there are luxury all inclusive Caribbean resorts waiting to be tried out by all and sundry, just like the one pictured here.

Courtesy of TripAdvisor

As expected, there are several things that cause these luxury resorts to stand out and at the top of the list is location, location, location.

For the individuals who have been to one of these Caribbean resorts, there are several things that one can attest to with regards to the quality of the holiday enjoyed there. For starters, there is the aspect of pure unadulterated bliss that is well beyond most people’s wildest dreams. This fact comes about due to the location of these luxury resorts. The scenic charm itself is usually enough to keep most visitors coming back for more year in, year out. From the white sandy beaches all the way to the crystal clear waters, there is hardly a destination on the planet that can rival this one in its beauty.

To add to the appeal of these luxury all inclusive Caribbean resorts is the fact that the sun shines all year round. Well, just about anyway. This means that once an individual or a group of people has checked into one of these resorts then the fun can now begin in earnest.

For the newbie into the world of all inclusive packages, there are certain things that cannot be overlooked one of them being excellent accommodation facilities. Once again, there are very few locations on the planet, if any, that can challenge the opulence that these resorts have on offer for consumers to indulge in. From the room sizes all the way to the tasteful decor and extravagant bed linens, the consumer will surely be spoilt for choice when it comes to vacationing within the Caribbean.

Another element that makes these hideaways the envy of many is the fact that there is food and more food to be had by the guests. This is a welcome addition, which is in contrast to most holiday packages that only offer a limited amount of food at specified times during the day. To make the packages even more delectable there is the element of drinks. As is common knowledge, no good vacation comes without excellent drinks that the guests can enjoy as they take on one activity or the other, or simply opt to soak up the sun on the beach.

In order to make their deals even sweeter, these luxury all inclusive Caribbean resorts come with the added advantage of offering their guests different types of sports to wile away the time while in the Caribbean. This works well for those who are keen on keeping fit while on vacation as well as those who would like to take on one new sport or the other.

As the proverbial icing on the cake, there is the entertainment factor. Within these luxury all inclusive Caribbean resorts, one is able to enjoy the different treats to be had throughout the duration of their stay without having to fork out more money to attend special events.

Basically, there are many reasons why these holiday spots should be taken on and if for nothing else, the total relaxation and pampering that comes attached to luxury all inclusive Caribbean resorts.
